Living in Saanich

Saanich has more parkland than most buyers expect. Mount Douglas Park (PKOLS), Elk/Beaver Lake and the Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary are all here, and the Lochside and Galloping Goose trails connect much of the municipality by bike. Saanich Commonwealth Place, Uptown, Tillicum Centre and Broadmead Village cover recreation and shopping. The University of Victoria and both Camosun College campuses are in or beside Saanich, and the ferries and airport are an easy drive up the highway.
